During a horseback trail ride in a nearby woods, my sister and I came upon this beautiful little fawn tucked away just off of the trail. My sister snapped a photo of it using her phone and I knew this was an image I had to paint! I called it "The Gift" for several reasons. First, it was like a surprise gift to find this during our ride. Second, I believe that life is a precious gift from our creator. It was truly a beautiful treasure to find.
