Through the Storm was inspired by photo used with permission from Gypsy Vanner horse owner Geri Lordi. When I saw the image I immediately saw the strength in this mare as she lowered her head and pushed through the storm. She looked so strong and determined.She reminded me of how resilient and courageous some people are and how I admire that strength.
